BEGINNER MACHINE QUILTING
Wednesdays, afternoon class 2-4 pm;
SERIES OF 7 CLASSES ($15.00 per class, first class payment is required at time of joining)
Color and Design – Part 1 (Nov 5th)
In this class, you will learn how to choose your color tones and design your quilt top. At the end of
this 6 part series, you will have made a complete queen-size bed quilt! $15.00 plus supplies, pattern
included.
Basic Cutting – Part 2 (Nov 12th)
In this class we will begin to accurately rotary cut all your quilt pieces including ½ square triangles
and a 4-patch blocks. $15.00 plus supplies
Piecing– Part 3 (Nov 19th)
In this class we will learn how to assemble all your quilt pieces with
a technique called chain sewing. $15.00 plus supplies
Borders – Part 4 (Nov 26th)
We will cover how to apply your borders and pick colors that will
match your design. $15.00 plus supplies
Walking-Foot-Machine Quilting- Part 5 (Dec 3rd)
We will show you different methods to prepare your quilt and start
you off with your walking foot. The next class will be your second
level. $15.00 plus supplies
Free-Motion Machine Quilting – Part 6 (Dec 10th)
This is a class to look forward to! We will have fun learning to machine quilt with our free motion foot,
patterns will be provided. $15.00 plus supplies
Binding and Labels– Part 7 (Dec 17th)
As our series comes to a close in this class, we will be learning how to cut and properly bind our
quilts. We will discuss sewing on a sleeve if you desire, and discuss labels. $15.00 plus supplies

GRANDMOTHER’S FAN

Afternoon 1-4 pm
Come and join Vicki as she shows you this traditional
technique. Vicki will show you an easy way to match
your curves. Grandmother’s fan has been passed down from generation to generation, a great
concept to learn! Cost $20 plus supplies.

HOLIDAY OR NOT TABLERUNNER
Wednesday, Nov 5th
Afternoon 12-4 pm
Our sample is done in our new line of Christmas colors,
but you may choose your own colors if you wish. This
class is a quilt-as-you-go method, there are three patterns in one that include: flowers for spring,
leaves for fall or hearts for any season. This would make a perfect gift for Christmas! Cost $30.00
plus supplies.

BEGINNER BLOCK OF THE MONTH
Fabric line: Wildflower Serenade By Kansas Troubles
Thursdays, Nov 6th
Mornings, 10-12 am
Our other classes are full so we are starting another class for those who would
like to do this during the week. This program has a total of 18 blocks but only 12
classes (Nov-Oct). At the end of the 12 classes, student will finish the last 6
blocks at home. Then we will get together for the final class to assemble our quilt top. Kit and class is
$15 per month (includes fabric and class) (we meet the first Thursday of every month)

STACK OF SNOWMEN
Tuesdays, Nov 11th and Nov 18th
Evenings 6-8 pm
Anyone remember making snowmen when you were young? This wall-hanging
quilt should bring back memories for then! This is a great project to make, we will
be learning how to machine appliqué in this class and have fun doing it! Cost
$30.00 plus supplies

QUILTMARC OF COMING TO THE STORE!

Three demonstration TIMES 10: am, 1: pm and 7: pm evening
Tickets $5.00 to reserve a seat.
All tickets may be applied to store purchases for a $5.00 discount that day.
Marc will be demonstrating different notions and how to use them. He will be
showing you have to use Shiva Paintsticks and you will get to try them
yourself. He will also be covering how to put pictures on fabric and batik
fabric, shape cut plus, fussy cut and so much more! We now carry Kaffe
Fasset fabrics, a designer from London England, Marc will be setting up a
display table of all of Kaffe Fasset fabric if you would like to order some that are not in stock.

This quilting bag will hold your mat, ruler, rotary cutter; all your quilting supplies and

enough to hang on a wall and just big enough to use as a cuddle lap quilt.

This quilt is a complete Mystery! When signing up for this program, students will be required to pay
$20 (covering the shipping charges). This will include your first installment pattern and 7 more to
come that will be delivered to the store the 4th Saturday every month. Students will be required to
purchase their fabric kit, the day you join.

PAINTING ON FABRIC

This is a fun class and suitable for the youth as well! We will take you step by step through creating
your own scenes on fabric. This can be framed or used as a block for a quilt or even put into clothing!

RAGGIE RAG Quilt

Afternoon 12-4 pm
Take a new experience in rag quilting! We have a few great idea for you, you can choose between
two pattern this time. If you like the wildlife side of things we have just the fabric for you. If you like
things bold and bright! We have the right fabric for you! We also have Christmas flannels and baby
flannels, there is something to everyone. These quilts are very quick to make as you will quilt each
block as you go. Cost $30 plus supplies
